I was recently asked by a client (Dell Compellent) to present to a group of business partner owners in London on the topic of "Managing Salespeople for Success". These are business owners vs. sales leaders, so I wanted to make sure and look at this through a different lens than I typically use when talking to sales leaders. I went out to a group of trusted colleagues and clients (who are sales leaders and business executives themselves) and asked a very simple question: "What are your top 5 ideas for Managing Salespeople for Success?"

The input I got was amazing, and surprising. Amazing in the quality of the insights and surprising in the variation of the information. After all, how many different key tips could there be on this topic? As I learned, many more than I expected.
