A Powerful Panel 2
A Powerful Panel 2
Published on
On Day 2 of the national sales meeting, the day began with a "Breakfast of Champions" - another panel where leaders shared their success stories. Here were a couple of key points that came out:
- The best way to develop coach relationships is to take a sincere interest in other people. Dale Carnegie made this point well when he said, "You can make more friends in two months by taking an interest in other people than you can in two years trying to get other people to take an interest in you".
- The more ideas the better. It's easier to find an option that works when you have many to consider.
- We control our most valuable element of competitive advantage. Our most powerful competitive differentiation is NOT what we sell or HOW MUCH we sell it for. Instead, it's HOW we sell and how we do business. That's the one thing we can control. We can't control what our competitors do, or the level of discount we are allowed to offer or the downturns in the economy, but we can control how we make every customer feel after we meet with them. That's enough.
